A bus was hijacked, cars set ablaze and a press photographer attacked as violence continues to escalate in Belfast. Freya McClements, correspondent with The Irish Times, says the violence has been condemned across the political spectrum in Northern Ireland and internationally. The recent violence, largely in pro-British loyalist areas, has flared amid rising tensions over post-Brexit trade rules for Northern Ireland and worsening relations between the parties in the Protestant-Catholic power-sharing Belfast government.
