Indian Farmers have turned down a government offer to postpone controversial reforms that they say threaten their livelihoods. Tens of thousands of farmers have been camping outside the capital New Delhi for weeks and say they will only move once the reforms are abandoned altogether. Farmers are now threatening to drive their tractors into New Delhi in January 26 and disrupt celebrations for India’s Republic Day, as FRANCE 24’s foreign chief editor Robert Parsons explains.
