Hundreds of Tunisian protesters took to the streets for the 5th night running on Monday in cities across the country. Many ended in clashes with the police. According to the Interior Ministry, over 600 people have been arrested so far. Tunisians recently marked the 10th anniversary of the ousting of president Ben Ali, but many say the things they were fighting for on the uprising have not yet materialized. The country struggles with poverty, a situation worsened with the Covid-19 pandemic.
